Return and Refund Policy

NOTE: This section only highlights the return and refund policy for Photos In Motion; other terms and conditions will be outlined in the Equipment Rental Agreement.


Rental Cancellations: 

  • There is a 24-hour cancellation grace period for the non-refundable reservation fee. After that, your deposit is non-refundable.   
  • If rental is cancelled 14 days prior to your rental date, you are eligible for a refund (excluding reservation fee and the cost of any customized items).   
  • If rental is cancelled 8 days prior to your rental date, you are eligible for a refund of 50% (excluding reservation fee and the cost of any customized items).   
  • Any cancellation within 7 days of the event is non-refundable.   
  • All cancellations MUST be submitted in writing to Info@PhotosInMotionDMV.com.  


Remaining Balance: Any remaining balance after security deposit, MUST be paid in full no later than 15 days prior to your event. Failure to pay in full will result in automatic cancellation of your rental and your deposit will be forfeited.   


Wrong Date (Rental): Making a payment means that you confirm the date and address listed on your rental agreement. If you have booked the wrong date or listed the wrong venue/address, notify us immediately via Email ONLY [Info@PhotosInMotionDMV.com].   


You have 24 hours to notify us of the mistake. Failure to do so will result in a $100 fee to update your date or venue/address. We will try to accommodate the date/venue change if our schedule allows.   


If the mistake is not corrected and results in our attendant showing up on the incorrect date or venue/address listed in your rental contract, you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind.   


Inadequate Space (Rental): Due to the swinging arm, our 360° Photo booth rental requires a minimum or 8ft x 8ft flat surface; however, a 10ft x 10ft space is optimal. As listed in the rental agreement/contract, if the renter/client does not provide adequate space, it may affect rental time without accommodation or result in cancellation of rental services without a refund.   


Damages and issues:  Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.  


Exceptions / non-returnable items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as custom back drops, special orders or other personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.  


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift certificates.
